Dr Divyanshu Dutt Dwivedi is an internationally trained,  highly skilled and accomplished orthopedic surgeon with 2 decades of  experience. He is known for his expertise in joint replacement, arthroscopy, sports medicine, complex trauma, non union/ mal-union of fractures and pelvi-acetabulum  surgery.

Dr Dwivedi grew up in the humble township of Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his MBBS from one of the best medical colleges in India, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. His time at Manipal laid the strong foundation for his ethical clinical practice.

He then secured an orthopedic surgical residency at UCMS and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Delhi, by excelling in a highly competitive All India exam in 2012. During his residency, he honed his trauma surgery skills at this institution, which caters to a large number of patients from Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh.

Dr Dwivedi completed his senior residency at the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College and associated Lok Nayak Hospital, Delhi, from 2015 to 2018. During his tenure, he was actively involved in research and teaching medical students. He also further mastered orthopedic subspecialties such as joint replacement, arthroscopy, pelvic acetabulum surgeries, and spine surgery.

Dr Dwivedi completed his long-term fellowships in joint replacement and arthroplasty at Sunshine Hospital, Hyderabad (2018) and Sant Parmanand Hospital, New Delhi (2019). He worked with stalwarts and pioneers of joint replacement in India, such as Dr. A.V. Gurava Reddy and Dr. Shekhar Agarwal. During his fellowships, he gained extensive experience in complex primary hip and knee replacement and revision joint surgeries.

To complete his expertise in joint preservation, Dr Dwivedi completed a fellowship in arthroscopy and sports medicine from the Delhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopedics, Sant Parmanand Hospital, India (2019-2020). He was trained to manage a wide range of shoulder and knee injuries and became proficient in keyhole arthroscopy surgeries.

He further trained in shoulder and elbow surgery (2022-2023) under the pioneer shoulder surgeon Dr Yong Girl Rhee in Myongji Hospital, Seoul Capital Region, South Korea. He gained expertise in management of full gamut of shoulder and elbow surgeries including arthroscopy, joint replacement and complex trauma.

He also gained proficiency in revision hip and knee replacement at one of the most prestigious joint replacement centres in Europe, Helios- Endoklinik, Hamburg, Germany. This centre performs most joint replacement surgeries in Europe and  has developed major ground breaking techniques in revision replacement surgeries. Dr Divyanshu became expert in revision hip and knee replacement surgeries and is amongst few surgeons in the area having competence in performing single stage revision of infected hip and knee replacement surgeries.

Before moving to Lucknow, Dr. Dwivedi worked as an Assistant Professor in Orthopedics at Government Medical College, Pauri, Uttarakhand.
