Long-term stints in high-volume government trauma institutes in Delhi such as Lok Nayak Hospital, Sushrut trauma centre and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital exposed him to diverse complicated cases usually not dealt with routinely by surgeons. He uses special techniques such as Ilizarov and LRS for dealing with long bone non-unions.

He works closely with plastic surgeons and intensivists to cater to such a unique category of demanding injuries.
